A Laurie Anderson-style live concept album reconceives the sweet sounds of the marimba, resulting in an original melodic experience. Created by Erin Jorgensen and the legendary producer/composer Steve Fisk, Redemption is a night of new music that ranges from pseudo religious hymns to rock concert refrains. Welcome to the Church of Erin, where everything from Magic 8 Balls to Craigslist offer wisdom and the potential for the divine.
Erin Jorgensen is a Seattle-based artist best known for her work with The French Project as well as for her appearances in the NW New Works Festival, the Solo Performance Festival and on tour with Built to Spill. Steve Fisk is a longtime composer/producer who has helped make albums for Nirvana, Low, Reggie Watts and Mudhoney.
“Jorgensen is one of the only singers whose voice still…can give me the chills.” - The Stranger
