"Awesome" holidays Jan 4, 2010

What were OtB artists up to during the holidays? "Awesome", for one,  played at Winterfest and had an impromptu  moment one evening that the Seattle PI declared to be British Idol-esque:
During a technical glitch in the performance, the lead singer who had noticed this Seattle Center local singing along in the audience motioned him to come forward. They talked for a few seconds and, Preacher John, as he is known began singing into "Awesome's" mic in this bluesy, gospel voice about the Lord and salvation.
