The U.S. House of Representatives voted in favor of the glibly named American Health Care Act, which, if approved by the Senate, would push back the Obama administration’s expansion of Medicaid and weaken protections for people with preexisting conditions, raising costs based on health history. For some healthcare companies, preexisting conditions include pregnancy and domestic violence.

I have never seen this woman perform before but, for many years, I have known Kristen Kosmas' name from conversations about solo performance. I understand why. She is a like a bird. Delicate, quick, unpredictable, but capable of doing things we can't do. Holding full attention without insistence. Delivering jokes like they are carefully crafted chocolates hidden in newspaper.
