Larissa Tokmakova is the Russian translator (or maybe Kristen is the English translator) in There There. In her "real life" she is a painter who has taught painting at Ateliers Fourwinds (France) and the Hebei Academy (China), and is a faculty member of the St. Ann’s School in Brooklyn.
