12/13 with OntheBoards.tv Jul 30, 2013

12/13 was a busy year for OntheBoards.tv. We added 6 beautifully filmed and meticulously edited performances to our cache. These films are artworks unto themselves and can be enjoyed practically anywhere, anytime.

Operations manager Shasti Walsh completely reorganized our storage space yesterday. Looking for performance artifacts dating back to OtB's inception? We got 'em. (Sadly, the accordion, mini-trampoline and mystery object will have to find another home.)

SUMMER AT OTB | PART II Jul 22, 2013

Production gets our stages ready for the 13/14 season: the mainstage has been completely repainted, while the downstairs studio floor will be completely refinished. Boxes of archival material hang out in the hallway as we organize everything from last season. (If you look closely, you can see the hardware carts we use as mobile bartending stations.) There's still so much to do before the new season opens. We can't believe August is only a week away...

Summer at OtB | Part I Jul 1, 2013

It may surprise you to learn that the summer months are an intensely busy time for artists and staff at OtB. For instance, check out this incredibly detailed diagram of Northwest Series artist Dayna Hanson and her crew. Dayna & co. are just some of the many artists whom we provide with rehearsal space and tech needs during the summer. (You have to buy your own Cheetos.)
