KUOW's Front Row Center at 3Seasons Jan 13, 2010

Did you know that KUOW has started a performance club? Hosted by Marcie Sillman, the club will host post-show discussions at local restaurants and bars following select performances around Seattle. On Sun, Jan 17, they'll be launching the club at the Sitting Room following that evening's performance of 3Seasons.

OtB artistic director Lane Czaplinski and managing director Sarah Wilke, along with Thinklab producer/director Matt Daniels presented some video clips from our almost-ready OtB.tv program at PS122 in New York this afternoon. They talked about the initiative to around 100 international presenters, artists, managers, and art lovers.

For Seattle dance lovers, the members of Whim W'Him, a newly founded Seattle dance company, are a known quantity. They're four stellar performers from Pacific Northwest Ballet (Chalnessa Eames, Kaori Nakamura, Jonathan Porretta, Lucien Postlewaite), another gifted quartet from Spectrum Dancer Theater (Ty Alexander Cheng, Hannah Lagerway, Kylie Lewallen, Vincent Lopez), and an eye-catching loner, Jim Kent, who has danced with Mark Haim ("Goldberg Variations") and Scott/Powell Performance.
