2014 Festival Artists: Sarah Rudinoff May 29, 2014

Sarah Rudinoff has been performing in Seattle for 20 years. She was last seen at On the Boards in Dayna Hanson’s The Clay Duke. Her solo shows include Broad, Go There and The Last State; they have played locally at On the Boards, Re-bar and Bumbershoot and toured PICA’s TBA Festival (Portland), HBO Workspace (LA), The Warhol Museum (Pittsburgh), and Adelaide Festival (Australia). Sarah has performed at stages all over Seattle including The Seattle Rep, The 5th Ave, ACT Theatre Off Jackson and Annex. Recently she collaborated as a writer, producer and performer in the new play about women rock musicians during Seattle grunge explosion entitled These Streets, which had its premiere at ACT Theatre in 2013. Rudinoff is a recipient of a 2012 4 Culture Grant and a 2013 CityArtists Project Grant, has been a Gregory Award nominee for best actress, won numerous Seattle Times Footlight awards and is a Stranger Genius Award winner in Theatre. She was included in the Chase Jarvis book and PBS Special, Seattle 100 – Portrait of a City chronicling 100 Seattleites who drive culture in the city.
